Heliotrope
July 2023

Diamond point engraving on glass of a Heliotrope growing at Al-Nabi Yusha, a depopulated Palestinian village, site of an abandoned mosque, tomb and shrine dedicated to the Prophet Joshua. The name "heliotrope" derives from the idea that the flowers of this plant follow the Sun; helios is Greek for "Sun" and trope, derived from trepein, means "to turn".
